[arch-general] Output of make -s kernelrelease has a "" suffix

[u34--- via arch-general]

With 5.17.arch1, the output of 

    make -s kernelrelease

ends with "". That is, having a double \" character at the end of the 
string.
It was not like that in prevoius versions. Is that expected?
