I got that message too, so I updated to the next minor version (424-->425) and restarted Firefox. All was well with the world. :)
Mozilla's plugin check reported it as up-to-date even beforehand, for some odd reason. Make sure you restarted the browser. Otherwise it will still be using .424 -- Eli Schwartz
