Great, that solved everything :) Now it wouldn't be so bad to have the 3d working but I don't want to lose too much time. I had already opened a discussion on the forum http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=71102 If someone has a dell 10 and a working 3D it would be great if he/she can share the config of the stupid hal/xorg (but mostly hal).
