I'm using netcfg too, with through the autowifi daemon ( wiki.archlinux.org/Autowifi <http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Autowifi>) But I'm using too some netcfg-proof network (worst than terrible wifi), and for this, I'm using archassistant.
