and it's not already shipping compiled modules. The entire jupyter stack
was affected recently (about 20/30 packages). I don't think posting an
individual news item about every one of them is reasonable. We should
just refer people to the relevant wiki page.
If there are lot of such packages on the horizon, how about we do a more
general announcement and fix all packages without .pyc files now.
