JFTR and IMHO, there is no competition to Together in terms of synch-ing models with the code, and the additional metrics and other tool integrations provided with ControlCenter are great. I just can't afford to buy or recommend it in the majority of cases.

1) Visual C++ 6.0
2) JBuilder
3) JDeveloper

Since I do not know of an IDE that integrates ant (anyone feel free to
inform me otherwise),
I think the choice of IDE is more dependent on the IDE you like best.
