Hello Dirk,
"tag" attribute is used to provide "-r ${release.tag}" argument to cvs command.
Documentation seems to be non-ambiguous in description of this attribute:
"... the tag of the package/module to check out."
So, you have to use something like: <cvs command="tag ${release.tag}
${dirs.to.tag}"/> to accomplish your target.
