There seems to be a bug with the delete target:
The following doesn't delete the empty directories underneath the target
directories:
<target name="clean-all">
<delete includeEmptyDirs="true" >
<fileset dir="${classes.dir}" />
<fileset dir="${lib.dir}" />
<fileset dir="${javadocs.dir}" />
</delete>
</target>
Please fix this bug before the Ant 1.3 is released.
