We are pleased to announce the release of two new Firefox ESR
versions today, 115.15.0 and 128.2.0. Both are available for download from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/all/ Firefox ESR 115.15.0 is the latest in the ESR 115 branch, and as always, we recommend that users keep up to date with the newest version of Firefox ESR for the latest stability and security fixes. As was previously announced, ESR115 users on all supported operating systems will be upgraded to the 128.3.0 release shipping from the ESR128 branch on October 1. However, we are also offering a 6-month window of extended security support for Firefox ESR 115 on Windows 7-8.1 and macOS 10.12-10.14. This extension strictly applies to users on those operating systems and only high-impact security fixes will be in scope for backporting. There will be no ongoing backports of new enterprise policies or related functionality during this period. We will re-evaluate this decision early next year and announce any decisions related to the final end-of-life for ESR 115 at that time. We strongly encourage organizations to use this opportunity to test this new version in their environment and provide feedback prior to automatic updates from the ESR 115 channel being enabled.
