We are pleased to announce a new release of Apache Jena, version 2.7.4 together with a release of Fuseki, version 0.2.5.

This release passes the final SPARQL 1.1 test suite for query, update and protocol. The release also includes substantial improvements in the crash recovery of TDB, the native RDF database.

There are several areas of deprecated functionality:

1/ Partial, migration support for the W3C submission that lead to SPARQL Update is deprecated. SPARQL 1.1 Update is standard and more expressive. Warnings are logged on using old forms.

2/ Most operations on the low-level bulk update handler are deprecated and the remaining operations will be migrated to the Graph interface. If this affects you, please let the project know. It does not affect the Jena API.

3/ Any last remaining support for DAML+OIL (e.g. Vocabulary) is deprecated in this release and will be removed soon.
