Well, I was in fact missing something. I needed to add 'viewInjector' into
the component, like this
@Component({
selector: 'plunker-app',
viewInjector : [MyService]
})
But in my real code I'm using a @Directive which doesn't have
'viewInjector' but 'hostInjector' which works fine for me :
@Directive({
selector: '[some-selector]',
hostInjector: [MyService]
})
