If I have this code in a controller:
$rootScope.$on('$stateChangeSuccess', doSomething);
This code is in a parent $state controller with various children.
When the user navigates away from this parent $state, do I need to
"destroy" this controller? Because obviously when you aren't on that
partiular parent $state, I don't want that doSomething function to be
running
