I already have a nasty hack(ish) solution, in tag v1.0.1 https://github.com/webpolis/angular-treecursive/blob/v1.0.1 which works well for this purpose... the problem is due to my inexperience with transclusion/ng-repeat issues, I'm using on that version an event attached to an exposed method, very ugly solution. Last *master* release (v1.1.3) is exposing the scope from wherever you place this directive, which is what I want. So, please base your solution on top of last master release. Thanks.
