HI there, I don't think I have an extraordinary use case here but somehow I wasn't able to find any documentation about it. In my application I have to support legacy URL of the form:
http://www.example.com/page?item=ID so in my angular app, I would like to grab that ID and use a resources to get the item referenced by ID from a REST service. in my controller, I inject the $location service to extract ID from search but search() Returns a empty object. If I change this URL to : http://www.example.com/type?#item=ID it now works, but I don't have control over the URL that are called so I MUST be able to parse the first URL. Seems like something a lot of people might want... Thanks for the help -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AngularJS" group.
