I'm doing a quick and dirty zoom using the following:
if (mIsZoomed) {
canvas.translate(-mCenter.x * (mZoomScale - 1), 20);
canvas.scale(mZoomScale, mZoomScale);
}
It shifts my image with the translate and zooms in with the scale.
I set mIsZoomed by:
@Override
public boolean onTouchEvent(MotionEvent event) {
mIsZoomed = !mIsZoomed;
return super.onTouchEvent(event);
}
which responds to the screen being touched.
