For the record: I run the emulator an a Linux (Jaunty) laptop that is
suspend/resumed in different networks at least twice a day. Most of the
emulator is quite happy about this, but a few times per week it will
refuse to use the network. I just restart it and think nothing much of
it these days, but the first few times it took me by surprise.
Presumably this is not the problem here, but...
