Hi all, I'm a new Android developer and, as well as working through the available tutorials (lots of material there, very helpful), I'm trying to understand how the standard applications (and others installed later) relate to each other and to new applications. For example, does the standard Calendar application make any interface available to other applications so that the other apps can (say) read calendar entries or create new ones? More generally, do applications make APIs available, or is all inter-application communications made by Intents?
