Position: *Business Analyst * Location: *Houston, TX - Hybrid role - 1-2 days onsite per week - Need locals TX candidates* Duration: *6 Months contract with possible extensions* *Key skills:* *Agile, TFS, Azure (Cloud), Middleware knowledge a plus* Job Summary: Drive identification of requirements across business units and convert them to technical requirements to be consumed by developers. Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems processes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels. Primary Responsibilities: · Elicit and document detailed Technical (Non-Functional) requirements from Business units. · Maintain user stories in TFS/Azure. · Identify potential process solutions using Middleware and Cloud technologies. · Maintain transparent communication between Business units and technical teams · Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of scheduled status reports to all appropriate parties · Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation · Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations Qualifications: · Technical Degree or related work experience · Proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity · Proven analytical abilities · Practical experience generating process documentation and reports · Excellent communicator with the ability to translate Business requirements into Technical Requirements.
