*Position: Data Quality Analyst* *Location: Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL (onsite)* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Job Details: Summary: Data Quality Analyst/Specialist* Must have a holistic perspective on the entire data governance process from both a business and technical perspective. Gather business and technical requirements and Technical implementation and support Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage and other essential Data Governance functions. At a high-level, need someone with experience with the IBM Tools Suite (specifically IMAM + IGC). Good experience with data lineage and interfacing to various other sources including cloud, etc. *Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. - Responsible for gathering business and technical requirements to capture metadata and lineage working with Business and Technical SMEs. - Ability to communicate effectively with Business and Technical SMEs, Architects, Analysts , Developers and other IT and business teams. - Ability to develop Metadata and Data Lineage Solutions for multiple data sources across On Prem and Cloud environments including but not limited to Databases, Flat Files, JSON, APIs, Kafka, ETL/BI Tools etc. - Create, develop, configure and execute end to end business and technical data lineage across disparate sources in accordance with the Data Governance Standards, Policies and Procedures. - Experience working on metadata management, administration, support and ingest data management assets using extension mappings, custom data assets, metadata bridges, connectors, third party metadata bridges ensuring data lineage/ source to target data mapping. - Perform other duties as assigned. *Technical Skills:* - Five+ years of Experience with Metadata Management tools such as IBM InfoSphere Metadata Asset Manager, Open IGC. - Experience with Data Governance, Data Profiling and Data Quality tools such as IBM InfoSphere Information Server Suite 11.x(Information Governance Catalog, Information Analyzer etc.). - Experience with big data/ Hadoop utilizing cloud solutions such as Amazon Web Services/ Google Cloud Platform - Proficient with SQL. - Experience with Business Intelligence/ Reporting tools such as Cognos/ Tableau/ Business Objects. - Proficient with Microsoft Office desktop tools (Word, Excel, etc.) - Experience with Databases (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Amazon Redshift). - ETL tools (DataStage, Talend, Pentaho etc.) *Education and/or Experience:* - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline. - Five or more years of experience in data governance disciplines: metadata management; data lineage; data quality analysis; data profiling; and business intelligence. *Nice to Have:* - DAMA certification - Perform requirements gathering, Data Analysis, Data Profiling to enable all the essential functions of the Data Governance. - Create, Develop and Deploy Data Quality Rules over the critical data elements(CDEs) identified based on the business requirements. - Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Management. *Thanks & Regards* *Mohammed Ifthekharuddin* Tel: 703-831-8282 Ext 223 Cell: 323-825-5662 Email: [email protected] Web: www.canopyone.com <http://canopyone.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
