Would likely to be extended* DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: • Lead the requirement analysis and design (conceptual and detailed design) of the Master Data Management solution. • Work with team members at onshore/offshore and also independently to work on in implementation of solution as per agreed design. • Designing, reviewing and developing the integration solutions between transactional systems and MDM platform. • Work with data modeler/data analyst to build data model for MDM • Develop data related software with SDLC methodology and agile methodology • Primary responsibility is for MDM senior developer and not ETL • Working with business/ data analyst and business SMEs for the data transformation mapping, Data Quality, Data Cleanse, Data Governance, Data Stewardship, match and merge strategies. • Work independently in the development, testing, implementation and maintenance of system of moderate size/complexity with a fast turn-around. • Providing input and support for the design, development, and implementation of automated processes. • Performed the Unit testing and System testing of the code and prepared System test document. • Conduct and assist in unit, load, performance, and integration testing. • Participate in project planning and release management. • Apply innovation, creativity, and improvement to the software development process • Research and propose software programs that are compatible to the future technologies. • Assist QA team in preparation of test plan & test cases. • Consult with clients in various review processes i.e. business requirements, test plans, design reviews, etc. to gain a solid understanding of the application and provide input into the various deliverables. *Skills, Knowledge and Experiences:* • 6 - 10 years of IT experience • Must have strong hands-on experience on MDM tools, such as TIBCO EBX (mandatory), Informatica MDM(optional), etc. • Must have basic development experience on java. • Must have knowledge on MDM concepts such as match and merge, survivorship, hierarchy management, data governance workflow, data quality and data stewardship. • Must have experience on data profiling, data cleansing including address cleansing. • Must have understanding on data modeling primarily data modeling concept related to master data management. • Good to have experience in technology like SQL, ETL, Unix scripting etc. • Must have hands on experience on data ingestion and publish integration development with source and target applications connect to MDM. • Experience in analysis & design the data flow between multiple systems.
