*Data Engineer* *San Jose, CA *
*6+ Months* Role As a Data Engineer TVC, you will help ensure the data needed to run Mastery day to day can be trusted and accessible by those that need it. You will work with key business partners to understand data needs, write ETL scripts, design and improve our data infrastructure and extract datasets from APIs. You'll need to be self-driven and comfortable working with various data systems, APIs, and visualization tools Responsibilities ● Design, develop and support data warehouses and reporting. ● Write extract, transform and load (ETL) to automate routine data collection and reporting processes using a variety of large-scale distributed data systems. ● Architect, create and support actionable dashboards and reporting systems ● Work closely with our technology team to extract data from APIs and automate data pipelines ● Write and review end-user documentation and technical documents, including requirements and design documents for existing and future data systems, as well as data standards and policies. ● Process data requests Minimum Qualifications ● BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Data Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. ● Experience in a data engineer/technical analyst role.
