The Business Analyst (BA) will provide analytical support for IT
development projects.  The BA may also act as an Associate Product owner on
an Agile team.



Responsibilities Include:

   - Performing data and requirements analysis.
   - Documenting and communicating the results of analytical efforts.
   - Producing data mapping specifications to guide consumption of new data
   sources.
   - Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
   - Monitoring analytical deliverables and ensuring timely completion of
   assigned tasks.
   - Working closely with business stakeholders, the technical team, and
   managerial staff.
   - Leading ongoing reviews of business requirements, and assisting in the
   development of optimized solutions.
   - Evaluating user acceptance testing efforts, and performing
   post-deployment shakeout.
   - Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
   - Managing competing priorities.
   - Serving as Business Analyst / Associate Product Owner in an
   Industrialized Agile development environment.



Required BA Skill Set / Minimum Qualifications:

   - College degree with 7+ years of experience in a Business Analyst (or
   substantially equivalent) position – required.
   - Worked in Financial Services industry and familiar with Financial
   Services payment systems data – Treasury experience preferred
   - Able to analyze data, perform gap analysis, and conduct data profiling
   exercises using standard tools (Squirrel, Toad, BI tools).
   - Comfortable writing SQL queries to dig into data anomalies, inspecting
   logic within reports, and presenting data mapping details to developers for
   representing new logic to be built.
   - Demonstrates a solid awareness of data governance, data
   management/cataloging principles and data pipeline creation (scalability
   for potential new sources).
   - Possesses a broad-based technology background – familiar with
   modelling data, BI/visualization tools and databases – with a history of
   understanding and absorbing business and technology concepts quickly.
   - Demonstrates excellent communication skills and ability to translate
   business requirements for IT development.
   - Familiarity with Agile development methodology is preferred, 2+ years
   of Product Owner or Scrum Master Experience would be a plus.
   - Strong Microsoft Office skills are required – especially Excel, Visio,
   PowerPoint, Word and MS Outlook.  Working knowledge of Rational Team
   Concert (RTC) would be a plus.
