Client is seeking a highly motivated Systems Administrator to join our IT
Operations Corporate team. Consistent with the objective defined in the
Client Business Systems Plan, the Sr. Systems Administrator will provide
support and maintenance of the Client network and Windows infrastructure.
The candidate will be a seasoned individual with a high level of IT and
professional administration experience. Ability to execute high quality
output in a high cadence environment.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities *(*other duties may be assigned*):
• Monitor, Configure, and support network infrastructure
• *HP/Aruba Switches*
• Fortinet stack – *firewalls, authenticator*, etc.
• *Aruba Wireless Networking*
• *F5 BigIP Local Traffic Manager*
• Monitor, Configure, and support Windows server farms
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft Exchange (O365 Hybrid)
• *SCOM\SCCM – Orchestrator, SCVMM*
• Server/Storage configuration and repair – Cluster Environments
• *Hyper-V\OVM Virtual Environment*
• Monitor, Configure, and support *Cloud Environments*
• Azure
• AWS
• Work with vendors to create\implement secure telecommunication solutions
• Design and implement IT solutions for the Client internal customers
• Create, establish, and enforce stated IT policies and company internal
controls
• Work with vendors and guide recommendations for network and operational
efficiencies
• Monitor and maintain Client security systems, providing mentorship and
training for junior team members
• Respond to customer issues, diagnose problems using network system
stools, recommend solutions and coordinate repair efforts
• Supporting 1000+ business users, onsite and remote
• Other projects, as assigned by IT Management
• Provide 7 X 24 On-Call support as part of a rotating schedule 1 week out
of 3-6 depending on team availability
• Local and regional travel estimate of 35%
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: *
• Excellent and thorough written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting enterprise level projects and supporting all phases
of SDLC, implementations, instance management, testing and post-go-live
support
• Experience leading and managing hardware and software asset review,
negotiations, vendor, and contract management
• Solid understanding of TCP\IP and the OSI model
• Experience supporting and implementing Security Best Practices
• Network performance and bandwidth utilization using products such as
Logic Monitor or equivalent
• Ability to design and document high level architecture using Visio or
equivalent tools
• Experience with ServiceNow platform a plus
• Experience with Azure, O365, AWS, Google, and Oracle Cloud platforms
*Education, Experience and Certifications: *
- Advanced to Expert level with *SCCM/SCVMM/Orchestrator* relating to
*windows* *patching*
- Expert level with *Hyper-V server* management -
- Experience *conducting a full domain migration (users/servers/etc)*
for an enterprise.
- Advanced level of *Windows system administration* experience
- Including *building servers (OS and configuration)*
- *Troubleshooting OS* and *hardware issues (services, misconfig, etc*
)
Standard level of *Networking experience* – specifically with *Aruba*
*switches*.
