JD as follows: *Role: Big Data Admin with Kafka/Redis* *Location: St Louis, MO* *(2 weeks onsite, 6 weeks remote)* 1) Top requirements: a. Kafka – up and running across Charter. Understanding chanonical objects, event standards, won’t create a topis for every object event. Design data around kafka b. Cloud – can come from Aws or Azure, current Charter is using container as a service (Kubernetes) c. Communication – will be doing designs from Jira stories, some white papering across the board d. Hadoop – Nifi concepts is a plus 2) Day to day responsibilities/project specifics: a. Design kafka based messaging platform, will drive big data solutions to expand the platform as a whole. b.
