If interested, please send me a copy of your updated resume, your availability and good time to connect with you*.* Title: *Middleware / Web Administrator (Apache, Tomcat, IIS)* Duration: 6+ Months 100% REMOTE role * Projects Information:* · Sr. Middleware Admin resource is required to support the Phoenix on-prem Enterprise Application Platform (EAP), which is a shared services platform hosting multiple business applications, as well as the primary SCM and CI/CD systems. · Will also be involved in supporting our Azure public cloud environment, and for engineering and implementing a transition from Tomcat to Container-based environment for the EAP. Top non-negotiable technical and professional skills needed for a worker to hit the ground running: · Windows administration – fundamental skills · Linux administration - fundamental skills · *J2EE (Tomcat or Websphere) and .Net platform administration* · *Microsoft IIS or Apache Web Server administration* *Required Skills and Experience:* · Minimum of 5 years experience with Windows Server and Unix/Linux operating systems · Minimum of 5 years experience with *Microsoft IIS or Apache Web Servers* · Minimum of 2 years experience with *J2EE or .Net platforms (strong preference for Tomcat or WebSphere background)* · Experience with *Web Portals and Web Content Management platforms* · Experience with virtual infrastructure platforms such as *VMWare* · Experience with LDAP platforms and SSO technologies (*Active Directory, ADFS, NetIQ Identity Manager)* · Experience with Microsoft networking, security and messaging components *Desired Skills and Experience* · Experience with web appliances (Load Balancing, Content Switching, Caching appliances such as BigIP F5, Cisco NetScaler, etc.) · Experience with private cloud management tools or software-defined infrastructure solutions such as the vRealize Suite or OpenStack · Scripting experience (ANT, VBScript, PowerShell, Perl, Unix Shell, etc.) Note: Work Location: STRONGLY Prefer remote worker located in Sacramento, Phoenix or Denver locations, but open to any continental US location. Remote workers would need to work core hours: 6-8 am AZ to 3-5 pm AZ (okay with an early AZ start if contractor is located in eastern time zone). . Project assignments can range from small to mid-size in scope with moderate complexity.
