*Senior BI Developer. * *Location is remote. * *Must be GC, USC, or OPT * *with at least 18 months left on Visa. * Our Clients inSight Analytical Reporting team collects healthcare data from internal and external sources; prepares it for analysis; develops and run queries against the data and creates analytical reporting. The Senior BI Developer/Engineer is responsible for the ongoing support of existing data management solutions, as well as development of new functionality to include sophisticated data management solutions, to enable colleagues to support tactical and strategic decision making. Extracts, models, transforms, and loads data into databases required for Analytics and Reporting. Delivers production ready data assets in support of client delivery requirements. *Responsibilities* · Create end-to-end analytics and reporting solutions · Develop ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services and SQL with consideration to fault-tolerance, error logging, auditing and data quality · Write sophisticated SQL queries to extract data and build complex models · Build/automate reports/dashboards (in Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services) that allow the business leaders to get a clear snapshot of their operations · Perform complicated analyses to extract learnings and drive insights · Perform technical walk-through as needed to communicate design/coded solution and to seek input from team leads and members · Data Modeling and Requirements Analysis · Understand, articulate and present business requirements into technical solutions · Analyze and profile current data to ensure no requirements are missed *Qualifications* · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or specialized training/certification or equivalent work experience · 5 years of experience designing, building and implementing enterprise reporting solutions with Microsoft technologies including SQL Server (2012 and higher), SSIS, SSAS tabular modeling DAX skills and Power BI · Experience in reporting and data visualization tools including Power BI Desktop and the Azure-based Power BI Service · SSAS Tabular Cube Design and DAX · Strong Data Modeling skills to include data quality, source systems analysis, business rules validation, source target, mapping design, performance tuning and high-volume data loads · Excellent communication skills · Experience working in an agile team environment. Understanding of code promotion, code turnover to operations, version control, and QA procedures. Conduct code walkthroughs, peer reviews, and produce technical documentation *Desired Experience* · Healthcare analytical reporting · Medicaid program experience a plus · Sr. level understanding of warehousing architectures including ETL design, staging, transformations, delta/change data capture, star-schemas, cubes, and history loading · Experience leveraging ETL frameworks to develop scalable solutions using SSIS.
