*Position: Java Application Architect* *Location: Horsham, PA* *Type: Contract* *Primary Responsibilities:* - Bridge our technology strategy and decisions with the designing and implementation of AOP architecture primarily focused on rate Quote implementation and integrating with Oracle BRMS system - Collaborate with the solution architecture and product owners on critical solution options and be able communicate the implementation constraints. Be a subject matter expert on the AOP Architecture. - Tie architectural vision together across all streams of work that impact AOP. Align emerging solutions from within the team and from solution architects to the overall vision. - Define standards for AOP application architecture. Advocate best practices and innovative solutions. - Stay abreast of current and emerging technologies / products / tools / trends related to architectural solutions. Evaluate and utilize those findings to influence our application design. - Facilitate / lead / participate in identification of risks. Provide solution options and prepare related estimates for business cases working with the delivery managers - Create POCs as needed, architectural artifacts and deliverables that communicate clearly to dev teams and address the requirements. - Make decisions and design timely solutions keeping in mind the agile workshop and the cause and effect of interim solutions. - Ensure alignment with industry and optum technology standards (e.g. design patterns, application frameworks, security, governance, Non Functional Requirements’ ) · Build relationship with Optum IT and UHC stakeholders and External Vendors *Required Qualifications:* · 8+ years of experience in IT Application Design and Architecture · 6+ years of hands - on experience in delivering multi - tier web based applications including micro services pattern · 4+ years in a role that made decisions across an enterprise, across multiple business units · Scaled agile delivery and/or enterprise wide architecture experience · Deep understanding of industry patterns for application architecture and integration · Experience with security, performance, network & cloud infrastructure techniques and how they fit to design & delivery. · Proven experience initiating, facilitating, and embracing change and transformation · Experience operationalizing web based systems that meet service levels, protect and secure our members data and privacy, scalable ,resilient, and focus on user experience · Experience presenting solution vision/direction in front of a large audience, and motivate that audience to deliver on a shared vision · Strong verbal and written communication skills *Preferred Qualifications:* · Undergraduate degree or higher · Healthcare industry experience · Team leadership experience · Experience prototyping and performance tuning applications deployed across multiple operating systems, languages and computing platforms · Experience creating and presenting appropriate models to communicate with stakeholders · Experience in / knowledge of large scale direct to consumer web techniques · Technology (Java Technology Stack, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Jenkins, Cloud, Microservices, BPM, Rabbit MQ Open shift, APM, Oracle Relational Databases ) · Experience working with Oracle BRMS system -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
