Your primary focus will be to implement complete user interfaces for both mobile and desktop, with a focus on performance. Job duties will include creating reusable modules and components and coupling them together into a functional application. You will work in a team with the back-end developer and communicate with the API using Restful HTTP POST(JSON) and GET Methods. A thorough understanding of all of the components of our platform and infrastructure will be required. RESPONSIBILITIES · Analyze functional specifications and contribute to technical specifications · Collaborate with other members of the development team and project team for new and/or enhancement of application features · Identification of the right technical solutions and definition of the technical architecture for given projects within the general framework including evaluation of other JavaScript libraries and frameworks · Translation of designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end pages · Build new or improve features of current Angular Single Page Applications (SPA) that leverage ASP.Net MVC and retrieve data via JSON API calls · Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications on mobile and desktop · Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented applications · Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API · Rapidly solve problems · Optimization of existing code for ease of use and performance · Support and troubleshooting of issues with current production applications · Maintain code integrity and organization · Assist in the migrating applications to QA and Production environments *REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS* · 4+ years of experience with frameworks such as Angular, Bootstrap, and React; Angular 4+ is required. · 6+ years of professional front-end UI development experience for both mobile and desktop including development and enhancement of front-end components · Experience with JSON and RESTful APIs · ASP.NET – MVC and Razor · Visual Studio · SQL Server · Understanding of Browser DOM and shadow DOM · Creation of self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components · Validation of user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback · Understanding and implementation of security and data protection · Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git and TFS *DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS* · Backend and/or Full Stack Development experience is a plus · JavaScript libraries and frameworks · Familiarity with geolocation and the Google Maps API · ReadSpeaker implementation · Balsamiq Wireframing tool *PROFESSIONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS* · Professional and precise oral and written communication skills · Collaborative attitude when working with other team members · Strong problem-solving skills · Familiarity with Material Design guidelines and best practices for user interface design · Familiarity with SEO best practices to increase visibility of State sites and applications · Knowledge in all stages of software development · Writing and performing extensive unit testing.
