Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required 4. Mentor other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications 5. Plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects 6. Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications 7. Research and document requirements of software users 8. Assist and contribute to the Architectural Council on all software solutions designed or purchased at Client 9. Assist PM/SQA and other groups coordinate developers and projects to completion 10. Clarify and drive team goals on a technical level making sure that the solutions proposed and designed are in line with the department and Client vision 11. Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts 12. Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades 13. Assist the Architectural Council with technical knowledge regarding emerging technologies to help drive strategy 14. Assist management with resource and release planning 15. Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications 16.
