We have urgent requirement with one of our client's, please review below job description and let me know your interest Title: SAS Developer with Bigdata (DYES00005848) Location: Mettawa, IL Duration: 6 Months. Locals Preferred: Description: Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers. Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and develops fixes. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within programming and data management / analytics. Generally, supports mainstream skills or common packages/platforms, such as SAS, R, Hadoop, Cloudera, Hive and Impala. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals including drive to dig into technology capabilities for solutioning. Performs a variety of tasks from coding to standalone documentation. May lead knowledge sharing sessions on delivered solutions and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude required. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Required Skills: . SAS experience including demonstration of digging in to leverage capabilities for creative solutioning. . Pharma Experience . R, Hadoop, Cloudera, Impala, Hive as 'Big Data' languages Nice to have: Exposure to Adobe CQ5, Data warehousing, Documentum, Informatica MDM, Learning & Development/Management, Niche Datawarehousing (QlikView), Reltio, SAP, Spotfire, TIBCO, Oracle SOA Admin, TeraData and Trackwise. Intake Notes: Top 3 things for the manager 1. Most recent experience to see if they are related to her area 2. Examples of longetivity, not a lot of job hopping 3. See clearly if they have worked with anyone Pharmaceutical client Core hours are 9-3 pm but otherwise a typical 8 hour day. There are remote options, highly dependent upon performance and completely privileged. Additional notes - Her team seeks resources strong in data analytics, management and services. Her primary resources are typically good technically, good with soft skills. Work well with data related topics, they also work with end user community. However, this person would be help take the data technical, help cover and support her team. Soft skills are important, business savvy.
