Responsibilities: - Provide subject matter expertise in BI solution design - Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions that leverage the enterprise data warehouse, reporting and analytic solutions - The areas of focus will be the development of reports and dashboards - Develop and maintain solutions using Cognos 11, SSRS 2015 as well as other analytics tools - Maintain existing semantic data models using best practices - Serve as an onshore liaison to our offshore develop and QA teams - Coordinate work efforts with Release Management team Required: - 5 + years Data Warehouse and data architecture experience. - 5 + years with PL/SQL development with the ability to write complex and multi-pass SQL queries - 1 + Current experience with full Cognos 11 suite - Deep understanding of full BI solution stack - Familiarity with development methodologies - Experience with OLAP / ROLAP - Experience using source control solutions and defect tracking software Competencies: - Experience working in an onshore/offshore software development environment - Demonstrates sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are not readily defined and/or conflict with available information - Have a solid working knowledge of capabilities and direction of technology, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the technology required and the needs of the business environment necessary to support assigned projects - Skilled at identifying flat areas and providing feedback to employees for performance improvement - Clear, logical, and effective verbal/written communication skills - Clearly demonstrated sense of urgency and bias for action - Ability to work well under pressure and independently - Ability to effectively direct the work of others - Demonstrated ability to interpret technical material - Able to fully research business situation, identify areas of concern and present solution - Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge in P&C Insurance systems and processes is a strong plus *Regards,* *Bharat Chhibber* *SoftNice Inc.* 5050 Tilghman Street, Suite 115, Allentown, PA 18104, USA *Ph: 610-301-0285 x 360* www.softnice.com Leading Software Development and Consulting Company.
