Your focus will be on developing replication capabilities for Client's 
innovative distributed file system. 
You will leverage your experience in building distributed, scalable server 
systems to develop the inter-cluster replication control plane for backup 
and for disaster recovery. 

*Responsibilities*:

Bring your proven experience building scalable systems infrastructure to 
develop key features from the ground up for a clustered, 
de-duplicated, replicated storage system. 
You will design, develop, test, and debug distributed control plane 
software modules, to enable remote backup and disaster recovery 
capabilities for a distributed file system.

*Job Description:*

 

The Software Engineer is responsible for designing and developing real-time 
control software for semiconductor capital equipment, specifically for CVD 
deposition process cluster tools. The individual will work in a 
cross-functional, multitasking, international team environment to develop 
and support the next generation control system for AIXTRON cluster tools.

 

*Major Responsibilities*

 

Design, specify, develop, integrate, test and document real-time control 
software for semiconductor manufacturing cluster tools

Analyze system requirements and translate into software specifications

Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports; follow quality system 
to verify, document, and fix problems

Support development labs, production staff, and customers as required

Work as an independent, self-motivated, task-oriented team player, planning 
and performing all tasks in an efficient manner with no assistance from the 
supervisor

15% international travel required

Other duties as assigned

 

 

*Qualifications/Requirements:*

 

BS or MS in Computer Science or related field with solid programming 
knowledge and hands-on experience in C/C++, C#, .Net, COM

At least 5 years experience in real-time multitasking programming, 
preferably for large equipment control software in the semiconductor 
industry

Experience with ControlWORKS SmallTalk framework.

valves, pressure transducers, integrated gasbox, gas panel, safety-critical 
devices, Ethernet, TCP/IP, RS-232, etc.

Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability 
to interact professionally with a diverse group of staff and customers

Experience in software development for intelligent devices and their links 
such as: MFC’s, gate

*Accessibility Testers** in Seattle, WA|*

 

*Required Skills:*

The ideal candidate would have prior experience with accessibility testing 
and *VPAT document preparation*, *regular screen reader users*, be able to 
work independently and available ASAP in Seattle.


*Expertise using the following screen readers:* JAWS (Windows), NVDA 
(Windows), VoiceOver (Mac OS, iOS), ChromeVox (Chrome OS), Talkback 
(Android) 
Ability to write quality bug reports and aptly assess severity of issues 


*Preferred:* Basic technical background and willingness to bisect to 
determine when and where breakages occurred
