Several years of large systems software design and development experience using Java, J2EE-based systems, Service Oriented architecture, web services, XML, SOAP, WSDL 2. Preferably experience designing software solutions for one of the following systems for transportation & travel industry i.e. online booking engines, inventory management and content management systems 3. Fluent in multiple programming languages and database technologies 4. Strong visioning, problem-solving and solution development skills. Ability to translate business requirements into a solution 5. Strong communication skills 6. Strong Interpersonal Skills ability to work with people with a variety of skill sets 7. Experience with development of consumer-facing applications in full SDLC 8. Good understanding of the different architecture patterns and their tradeoffs. 9. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git(DVCS). 10. Understanding of CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous deployment) process *Desired Skills:* 1. Demonstrable experience in transportation, travel and hospitality industry in delivering solutions from inception to production. 2. Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices in the Travel & Hospitality domain 3. Experience with multiple Hospitality and Travel technology and product platforms *Responsibilities:* 1. Work with distributed teams to design and develop frameworks, solution accelerators, proofs of concept, and external customer facing products. 2. Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with technical and business personnel as well as external customers. 3. Deliver technical solutions consistent with business unit strategies. 4.
