SharePoint/DBA and Migration Project
*Project Objectives*
1. Files in formats such as PDF and WORD are residing directly in
SharePoint 2010 / SQL Server database which need to extracted and converted
into data.
2. Company wishes to migrate from SharePoint 2010 to 2015
*SCOPE*
*Data* - 400 Gigs of data files in formats such as WORD and PDF are stored
incorrectly, directly in the SQL Server database. They must be extracted
and reloaded correctly. Expected duration 24-40 hours
*Migration* - Once data is extracted and reloaded, company wishes to mass
migrate from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2015
*Timeline* – Company wishes to initiate project in February or March 2018
*Duration* – Expectation is 3+ month engagement for one technical resource
*Tech resource skills* – SQL Server DBA with SharePoint developer/architect
skills
