A top company in Austin is seeking an Oracle Golden Gate Analyst to join
their team for a six month contract opportunity with possible extensions.
*Roles and responsibilities:*
-Configure and build Golden Gate Extracts/replicate for multiple databases
-Configure error handling for restart, logging, production support and
status reporting in Golden Gate
-Identify and produce documentation of best practices
-Trouble shooting and performance tuning Golden Gate replications
-Implementing necessary monitoring scripts for Golden Gate in UNIX/PERL
scripting
-Operational support experience
-Create database objects in operational data store and maintaining them
-Working with project management team to plan release activities.
-Provide Golden Gate solutions
-Working with Oracle on SRs for critical issues
-Strong oral and written communication skills along with problem solving
skills.
* Qualifications:*
-Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or Higher
-4 to 6 years of overall IT experience
-Experience as Oracle DBA
-Solid experience in Golden Gate
-Good scripting knowledge
-Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly and
succinctly communicate technical issues in English to individuals with
various technical backgrounds
-12x7 on-call availability
-SharePlex experience a plus
