*Role Description:*
The successful candidate will report into the Risk Management Reporting
team, which is responsible for delivering and supporting functionality to
both Market and Credit Risk areas. In both cases, the candidate will work
very closely with local and global Risk Managers/Analysts as well as other
front and middle office staff.
*Key objectives critical to success:*
*Essential:*
- Minimum 3 years of experience development with Java and Adobe Flex.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously or collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with
business users.
- Good requirement gathering skills.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Good understanding of best practices for the design, implementation
and testing of deliverables.
*Desirable:*
- Solid investment banking industry knowledge.
- Market/Credit risk experience in investment banking.
*Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:*
*Essential:*
- Core Java
- Adobe Flex
- MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase
- Tomcat
*Desirable:*
- C#
- WPF
- SSIS
*Other information or constraints:*
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confidence in dealing with people at all levels.
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
- Focused on delivering top quality software solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project and departmental
targets.
- Prepared to get involved in all aspects of a project to ensure its
success.
