As part of my development feature development I need to know the location of the device based on the GPS coordinates.
For this I am planning to use the *Geocoder*. getFromLocation() API. https://developer.android.com/reference/android/location/Geocoder.html. I see in the documentation that this API might not be supported “The *Geocoder* class requires a backend service that is not included in > the core android framework.” I would like to ask if you have any information regarding the percentage of devices *NOT* supporting this API? I referring to devices running Android versions equal or *higher* than* 4.3* and including vendors such Samsung, Nexus, HTC, Huawei etc. Thanks in advance. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
