I am developing a toy that will have an active NFC board in it communicating with a microcontroller. I need to know which phones will be able to communicate with the NFC tag through an android app.
The initial tag choice is ST25TA02K-P by STMicro. The tag description from the datasheet is: "NFC Forum Type 4 Tag IC with 2-Kbit EEPROM and General Purpose Digital Output". I have not worked with nfc before, but I intend to make a simple Android app to communicate with the tag. How can I determine if most phones will be able to communicate with this tag? Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
