Friends, We are building a telecom app where we have to read the USSD strings at the end of a prepaid call or response on dialing strings like *456#. Our research has concluded the following:
1. android does not have any API for USSD 2. The NetworkService function does not work for android 4.0 and above 3. we need to build a background service to read all the actions on screen. We are unable to move beyond this. I am sure some of you have already cracked it. Can you please share with us, how you have done it? Thanks a ton in advance.
