Recently I started using the beta testing system of the Google Play Dev Console for the first time. I placed my app in closed beta with a very strictly controlled list of participants, only close friends for now. However, during the testing, I noticed that an unexpected account had recorded a value on one of the app leaderboards, provided by the Google Play Services library. This account is not on the list of allowed beta participants, so I got worried about this unauthorised access to an unfinished app. I've reached out to Google Support but they've been less than helpful, taking forever in their answers and not actually answering my questions directly. I feel that there is a distinct possibility the access was simply some internal quality control from Google's side, but they seem unable to confirm or deny this theory. Does anyone have any experience with similar problems during closed testing through Google Play, or any suggestions on how I might proceed?
