Hi everyone,

I'm trying to extend the RecyclerView.Adapter class however I noticed that
all of the notifyDataSetChanged() and notifyItemChanged/Inserted/Removed()
method are declared final.

Looking into the source code, these notify methods simply notify the
RecyclerView's observer.

Can any of the Android SDK developers kindly explain why this decision was
made? What are the use cases you want us to avoid?

Thank you for reading!
