Hi guys, I've copied this "official" update on the memory card's root as update.zip then tried to reboot the phone while holding the Home key pressed. The result is that the phone shows a triangle with en exclamation mark in it (/!\) next to a phone and freezes with this image displayed.
I have to take out the battery so I can boot again. Any idea what goes wrong? And some further questions (I'm really a noob): - shouldn't the official firmware be released on a google/android site rather than a blog? - there's a update of the update, some guy named Jesus offers a 34MB package that is supposed to fix a Latitude bug. Isn't that kind of huge for such a ... well, minor fix?
