For automated testing purposes I am trying to launch my app via the command line, and have it not return until the app is finished. I am using this shell command: adb shell am start -W -S -n com.whatever.my_app/.RunAllTests; The problem is this works sometimes, and when it doesn't, it hangs and never returns. In LogCat, and on the device or emulator, I see my app launch, run tests, and quit, but I am still stuck in the shell command. Any ideas why this fails to return?
