Sure, but then again if you know where the wireless access points are
(street view, etc. map those pretty (too?) thoroughly) that would give you
quite an advantage. And most people don't move all that much even
when using a mobile. Still, not an easy task, I admit.

As for the original question, why not just use the browsers geolocation
API? If the users approves access to location, you would probably
get a GPS location, which should be pretty accurate. It should fall
back to IP geolocation if GPS is not available.
