I have downloaded and extracted the contents of android-sdk- windows-1.0_r1.zip, and also installed JavaSDK6u11. Whenever I attempt to launch the emulator, whether it be from Eclipse or the command prompt, it displays that an unhandled win32 exception has occurred. This error occurs before it complains about the datadir on a new install. I installed and ran the emulator just fine on a Vista machine, but this XP machine is giving me a headache.
Unhandled exception at 0x004d90cf in emulator.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000. Any advice or ideas would be appreciated.
