Hello, i want to connect my g1 to my computer (ubuntu 8.04) but when i connect it via usb it comes up as "usb drive" but is not mounted. when i right click on it and hit mount volume, nothing happens. when i double click it i get the message: unable to mount location, no media in drive.
can someone please give me step by step instructions (i.e. exactly what to type if it involves the command line) on how to get this to work? i just want to copy an mp3 to the phone . . . Thanks!
