Hello, I would like to code with android's SMS interface, however I am somewhat new to SMS programming. I would like to know:
1. If I send an SMS, can I be notified from the operator with some option about the timestamp in GMT for instance that the message was sent? I ask because I need to coordinate database manipulations across a distributed network of cellphones and am concened that if I use the time on each phone then if different phones have different timestamps things may get out of sync. 2. Is there an alternate way of letting the phones know about any time discrepancies in their time tracking settings?
