We developed an app which uses the Android API 7 (version 2.1) and the Google map library - developed in early 2010 on Ganymede. The environment cannot be reproduced today since the ADT Plug-in can no longer be installed on Ganymede.
I installed on either Helios or Indigo. The Android application compiles and loads on the emulator but crashes immediately. Note the apk does load and run on an Android phone.
