Ah... you need to be able to communicate the session-cookies from your apps' logon into the browser (which you start by the startActivity call).


Since you move your app's work-flow to a different application (the browser), I don't know how to send the cookies from your app to the browser-app. Since your app and the browser app are sand-boxed, your app can't have direct access to the browser's data (e.g. the browser's cookie storage).


I can't be of any help in this case. I don't think it's possible.... but i could be wrong.


If you add an Acivity with WebViews to your own application, you could be able to communicate the cookies to the WebView (by having javascript move the cookies from your app's storage (MyCookieStore) into the WebView's context. And you can show the index-pages (and other pages from your server) in these WebViews.






Yep thought so - impossible. I did wonder about web view but wasn't sure how to do it.
