Hi everybody,
i'm working on some simple NFC-Applications and i want to realize a simple scenario, where the Nexus S sends some Text / URI / SmartPoster to a desktop NFC-Reader. What i'm searching for is a NFC-Reader which is has the P2P- functionality. I'm using some simple nfc-read only USB Readers but actually it is not possible for me to get any result. - Is it possible to set the nexus s as a passive nfc tag? So the usb nfc reader thinks that it is reading a simple tag / sticker. At the current i've used some own applications and the google i/o stickyNotes app but neither stickynotes nor my own app has registered the usb reader. I'm not an expert with the nfc-terminology but i thought that the Nexus S and any usb reader are both acting as active nfc devices. I'm using a usb hid(human interface device) reader which outputs some cryptic ID's if a passive tag(sticker) is scanned but if i want to "write a tag" with the nexus s nothing happens. There is no new intent started at the ddms. Perhaps i'm understanding the whole active / passive device scenarios wrong. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
